Please note that if you don't currently own a cat, or you don't work from home, we will only adopt out kittens in pairs as they require company and cannot be left alone for long periods of time without another human or cat as company.
Completing this form does not entitle you to an adoption. A home-check and property inspection needs to be completed before the adoption will be finalised.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By clicking "SUBMIT" , you agree to the following Terms and Conditions

1. To provide regular healthcare by a licensed private veterinarian.
2. To contact Knysna Animal Welfare Society should you no longer be able to keep the animal.
3. To pay the adoption fee of R750 (seven hundred and fifty rand) before taking the dog to your home and that adoption fee is non-refundable after 7 (seven) days.
4. To ensure that the cat has an identification tag, and that you will update all microchip information, should your address or contact details change.
5. Ensure that your adopted pet will be kept safe at all times, to the best of your ability.
6. That all information in this form is true and correct, and considering binding.

I have read the above information carefully and have filled out this application honestly. I understand that omission of information and/or failure to answer all the questions can result in this application being declined. Also, if an omission or untruth is discovered after the adoption takes place, I understand that Knysna Animal Welfare Society reserves the right to annul the adoption and reclaim the animal(s) without being refunded for the adoption fee. If the application passes this review, I agree to a home and yard/garden inspection on a mutually agreed date and time by a Knysna Animal Welfare Society inspector or volunteer before the adoption decision is finalised.

In addition, I understand that the adoption decision is dependent on many factors, including, but not limited to, the compatibility of the family and home to the individual animal, as well as other applications received for this animal. I understand that it is the prerogative of Knysna Animal Welfare Society to decide which home is the most appropriate for any animal in their care, and their decision is final.

Unless otherwise indicated by Knysna Animal Welfare, I am free to apply and undergo the application process in the future.
