It’s nearly the end of January, 2021. This is the year in which Knysna Animal Welfare celebrates its 70th anniversary – 70 years of doing our best to serve those who cannot speak, in the area from Harkerville to Sedgefield.
At the beginning of this newsletter, we want to say an enormous thank you to all of you who responded with such generosity and kindness to our appeal in the December newsletter. You gave money, you gave cat food and dog food, and you gave blankets. You made such a big difference to our KAWS animals and to the animals (and their people) in the communities we serve, that our hearts are filled with gratitude. Our inspectors have been able to take packets of food, donated by you, when they go out on calls, to give to people who love their animals but who cannot afford to feed them properly now, because of the economic crisis.
