There have been some changes in staff, most recently the sad departure of Megan Heyns, our receptionist. After her husband’s untimely death, she was fortunate enough to be offered a more lucrative job, and we wish her all of the best in her new position. Our thanks to her for all she’s done for the animals during her years with KAWS.

Our first promise to you, as a new Committee, was that we would try to maximise sterilisations. Here’s what we’ve done and planned so far.
On 23 February, World Spay Day, Dr Loots and her team at KAWS did sponsored spays of 10 dogs and 2 cats, in addition to their usual clinic and hospital work. The Knysna Vet also did a sponsored spay for us. All of these were paid for by you – thank you!
